Hee! I CLEANED MY ROOM!!

  • Jan. 6th, 2010 at 12:29 AM
Okay, finally! FINALLY!! My room's clean! You have no idea how excited this makes me.

So, I'm going to Share my victory with all of you!!

X-posted between [info]westly_roanoke, [info]ourbedrooms, and [info]iheartmyroom!

First off, we got booted out of our last place, but you might remember me from This Post. While bummed about the fact I had to move, I got a bigger room, and a little smaller bathroom.

I'm working in...about a 13X13 space, with an additional bathroom.

Everything under the cut! 20 rather large images. )

Thanks for joining me on this little excursion! I'm glad you did!

Let me know what you think! Questions, comments, concerns, suggestions all welcomed!

Don't forget your shoes on the way out!

Hey guys! I've posted once before(post here). it was at the beginning of 2009 and it's safe to say my room has made a huge transformation.

Okay. My name's Ivette. I'm 21 years old. And I live in L.A. County, California.
P.S. One photo is NSFW, but it's pretty funny.

one year update!

  • Jan. 5th, 2010 at 6:47 PM

Hi there, [info]ourbedrooms! It's been a year since I've posted, during which I: a. am still in my same room, b. have completely rearranged it, and c. have somehow accumulated 102448 new things. Funny how that happens. I'm Meg, 18, and my room is a sort of thrift shop explosion.

My original post: 2/13/09. I have since re-arranged 3/4ths of the room and bought way too much. :)

Ahoy! )

Art Supplies Storage

  • Jan. 4th, 2010 at 11:11 PM
Hey guys! This is my first time posting here, and I just need a bit of help with something. I'm a first year design student and I just finished my first semester in college. The thing is, I'm finding it very hard to organize my art supplies around my room! I need some help on how I can store my art work and large pieces of paper (instead of under the bed lol). Anyone know where I can get paper stands or something of that sort? I'm also open to any advice concerning paint storage and other art supplies. I just need ideas! :)

Thank you in advance :).

If you find yourself at the crossroads of insomnia and insanity, this is the place to channel those demons that keep you sleepless. Vivid pictures, poetry, ruminations, and confessions from the nether hours between dusk and dawn. Originally formed to celebrate the city at night, there's a strong urban theme.

Self-described as "a little community with a lot of rage," you can soak up impassioned vibes and read blistering exposes detailing sexist attitudes in the news, pop culture, and science! A must-join community if you are, or love, a feminist. (NB: the topic of whether a "man" can be a feminist is outside the scope of this spotlight, but will probably wind up on the Writer's Block.)

do any of you have a flatscreen TV mounted on your wall? how does it look? where is it? I have 28" flatscreen and i'm currently redoing my room with a minimalist / adult like natural theme. my dad wants to mount the TV to give me dresser space. i just want to know if anyone else has done this first?
